My own personal princess! (How did i win that?) annie@princessannie.com This is my girl! Current status: the fiancée. I was thinking about what to write about her, since obvi I could go on for EVER, but then it occured to me that I had saved a little ditty she had written last year! For all familiar with myspace, this was her response to the "about me" section: *i am anne...sometimes annie (if i know you and like you). i love your mom and i love pickles. bagels are also delicious, especially when doused in a significant amount of cream cheese. it is one of my deepest regrets that i only discovered cream cheese at the ripe old age of 20, before which i had wasted many ill-spent years coating my daily bagels with butter--and butter only. i mean sure, i had seen the commericials. i knew that butter would scrape harshly against the rough surface of a freshly toasted bagel, whereas cream cheese (well, Philadelphia brand at least) would glide onto its bready destination with the ease and agility of a trained professional...but i didn't believe it then. oh no. the cream cheese phenomenon escaped me for much of my life, but i can proudly proclaim, here and now, that i have NOT succumbed to the finicky eating habits of my youth. i have overcome. and i. love. cream. cheese. *on a related note, i enjoy movies a great deal. i don't get out to the theaters much these days, but i can say that movies, as a general rule, are awesome. this may be why this section has been devoted to quotes from movies in previous edits...they are just so goood. it's so good, once it hits your lips! right. some of my personal all time childhood favorites that others generally revile and/or haven't heard of include: huggabunch; sidekicks; wild hearts cant be broken; and spacecamp. if you have the opprtunity to view any of these fine pieces of cinematic magic, please do so. *also, kiefer sutherland is a masterpiece of human form, and prison break is a damn good show. the office (british version) is the funniest series ever created by anyone. *i don't like seafood. at all. *i have a fantastic boyfriend whom i adore, respect and admire, and who makes me happier than i have ever been. because of this, i am extremely and indubitably one of the luckiest people ever. *spiders and burglers frighten me more than anything else in the world. poisonous things in any form are a close second. *i love going out and will dance to anything, anywhere. this includes on top of chairs, with doors, on stages by myself in england wearing white pants under a blacklight, in the car, on my lving room coffee table, in the kitchen, and in my office at work. i am a strong proponent of the notion that once the spirit moves you, you must go with it. for this reason, footloose is another one of my favorite films. sometimes you gotta cut loose. *music is my passion...and a magnificent and beautiful gift in so many ways. i simply and truly love music. *i enjoy humor immensely and seek it in all aspects of life. at the same time, i am very sentimental and cherish my memories of people, places, and events that have--and do--come into my life. *i love my friends. i love my family. i love the twists and turns that life can throw your way, only to straighten out for some unforeseen reason that in turn affects everything in your world. *i love God. *i am thankful. *and, in this moment, i am happy. That's my girl!
